SANTA CLARA, CALIF. (May 2008) – Sappi Fine Paper North America named Almaden Press as a Silver winner in the “Printer’s own Promotion” category in their 12th Annual North American Printers of the Year competition, earning them the title of “North American Printer of the Year” with 47 other printers from across the United States and Canada . The winning piece, Almaden Press’ own “Printing is a Life Choice: Everything you need to know to be a printing superstar!” Resource Guide, was judged based on the overall impact of the piece, degree of difficulty, and technical excellence. Nearly 2,000 entries were received for this year’s competition which is an annual recognition of the printing industry’s commitment to excellence and craftsmanship.
