Almaden Press Announces FSC Certification
SANTA CLARA, CALIF. (February 6th, 2008) — Almaden Press, a Bay Area full-service commercial print company, is pleased to announce certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. Forest Service Council is an international organization that brings people together to find solutions which promote renewable and sustainable resources. Printed products that carry the FSC logo assure customers the paper was made from trees harvested responsibly by environmentally friendly standards.
This certification is significant in that clients can feel confident that Almaden Press is committed to environmentally appropriate and socially beneficial manufacturing processes. Other environmentally friendly initiatives include extensive use of recycled papers, soy based inks, and the recycling of paper, plates, and ink.
